Laser removal of skin lesions
We use the latest lasers to remove skin lesions, including a CO2 fractional laser. The procedure involves precise vaporization of the affected tissue. As a result, the healing process is fast and the risk of scarring is minimal.
Lasers are most commonly used for the removal of: fibromas, warts, milk spots, selected pigmented nevi, cherry hemangiomas.

Electrocoagulation
It is a method of removing a lesion using high-frequency electric current. The treatment is quick and effective, and the resulting wounds heal quickly.
Electrocoagulation is used for the following: warts, fibromas, and cysts.

Cryotherapy
Removal of skin lesions by freezing with liquid nitrogen. The procedure is non-invasive and safe, perfect for treating superficial skin lesions.
Cryotherapy is most often used to remove: viral warts, selected epidermal lesions

Surgical removal of skin lesions with histopathological examination
During the procedure, the surgeon makes an incision around the lesion, removes it, and applies layered sutures. The skin section specimen is submitted for histopathological examination for careful analysis.
We surgically remove: pigmented moles, lipomas, cysts, fibromas, warts, skin cancers (melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma).
How does the skin lesion removal procedure work?
During the visit, the dermatologist carefully evaluates the skin lesion using dermatoscopy and qualifies the patient for the appropriate removal method.
In most cases, the procedure to remove the skin lesion is carried out at the first visit. Subsequent appointments may only be needed if there are numerous lesions requiring the treatment to be spread over several sessions.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia (for surgery) or without anesthesia (laser, electrocoagulation, cryotherapy). The duration depends on the number and size of lesions and takes 20-60 minutes.
Once the lesion is removed, the doctor provides detailed skin care recommendations to minimize the risk of complications and improve healing.
In the case of surgical excision, the patient is scheduled for removal of stitches after 7-14 days.
If surgical removal of the lesion with histopathological examination is necessary, the skin specimen is sent for laboratory analysis. The waiting time for the histopathology result is 2 to 4 weeks.
