What is micro-needle mesotherapy (microneedling)?
Micro-needle mesotherapy, also known as microneedling, involves the controlled micro-injury of the skin using thin, pulsating needles at a depth of 0.2 mm to 3 mm, depending on the area and purpose of the treatment. These punctures stimulate the skin to produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, leading to skin thickening and revitalization.
How does the treatment work?
- Fibroblast stimulation – micro-injuries initiate repair processes, activating fibroblasts to synthesize collagen and elastin, which enhances skin density and elasticity.
- Increased absorption of active substances – channels created during microneedling allow deeper penetration of ampoules containing vitamins, peptides, or hyaluronic acid, improving therapy effectiveness.
- Improved microcirculation – gentle and controlled skin damage stimulates circulation, enhancing tissue nutrition and giving the skin a radiant appearance.

Local anesthesia

conducting a series of controlled punctures with a microneedling device, adjusting the depth of the needles according to the patient's needs.

Massaging the remaining product
massaging the ampoule contents, in addition, a soothing mask can be applied to speed up the recovery process and reduce inflammation. Applying a cream that rebuilds the hydrolipid barrier of the skin.

Duration
a standard treatment takes from 20 to 40 minutes.
Post-treatment recommendations
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 2 weeks (always use SPF 50+ photoprotection).
- Avoid saunas, swimming pools or intense exercise for 7 days.
- Avoid alcohol and hot drinks for 24 h to prevent aggravated skin redness.
- Use gentle soothing cosmetics for at least a week, and avoid mechanical and acid peels until fully healed.
Contraindications
- Pregnancy and lactation period
- Oncology therapy (active or up to 6 months post-treatment).
- Autoimmune disorders, active inflammation of the skin (acute-phase acne, herpes) and a tendency to scarring (keloids).
- Diabetes, coagulation disorders, anticoagulant treatment, steroid therapy and the presence of fresh fillers (the procedure can be performed at least 3 weeks after fillers).
- Allergies to the ingredients of the preparations used.
Expected effects
- Immediate – visible brightening, slight skin tightening and smoothness effect right after the treatment.
- Short- and medium-term (1–4 weeks) – reduced fine wrinkles, more even skin tone, reduced pores, improved skin hydration and elasticity.
- Long-term (after a series of 3–6 treatments) – noticeable thickening of the skin, shallowing of deeper wrinkles, significant reduction of scars and stretch marks, maintenance of the effect for up to 12 months with proper home-based care.
