Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) mesotherapy

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) mesotherapy is an innovative aesthetic medicine procedure that uses the patient's concentrated platelets to stimulate the skin's regenerative processes, improve tone and revitalize various areas of the body, such as the face, neck, décolleté, scalp and hands. The treatment is fully biocompatible, minimally invasive and produces long-lasting rejuvenation effects thanks to the natural growth factors contained in the plasma.

What is platelet-rich plasma?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is an autologous platelet concentrate obtained by centrifuging a sample of the patient’s blood just before the procedure. It contains high concentrations of growth factors such as PDGF, TGF-β and VEGF, which are responsible for stimulating fibroblasts, angiogenesis and collagen synthesis. As a result, PRP plasma has a regenerative and revitalizing effect, improving skin texture, elasticity and color.

How does PRP mesotherapy work?

PRP is injected with a thin needle into selected areas of the skin, where it releases growth factors directly at the site requiring regeneration. Growth factors stimulate microcirculation, boost the production of new collagen and elastin, and promote tissue repair processes. This results in improved firmness, reduced wrinkles, smoothed scars and increased skin density.

What are the indications for the procedure?

  • Visible signs of skin aging: wrinkles, loss of elasticity, flaccidity
  • Acne and traumatic scars
  • Thinning hair, androgenetic alopecia, and alopecia areata
  • Improved condition of the skin on the neck and décolleté
  • Anti-aging prevention and overall skin revitalization

What does the treatment look like?

1

Blood draw

a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient's vein, usually without the need to be fasting.

2

Obtaining PRP concentrate

blood is centrifuged in a special centrifuge to isolate plasma with a high platelet concentration.

3

Application

PRP is administered into selected areas of the skin using a fine needle, which usually takes 30-60 minutes.

4

Completion

after the procedure you can immediately return to your daily activities; no long-term recovery is required.

What are the recommendations after the procedure?

  • Avoid intense sunbathing and saunas for 7–10 days
  • Use gentle moisturizers and protective UV filters
  • Slight swelling and redness usually subside within 24–48 hours
  • Avoid makeup for at least 12 hours after the treatment

What are the contraindications to platelet-rich plasma?

  • Oncological, hematological, and autoimmune disorders
  • Active skin infections, including herpes
  • Blood coagulation disorders and use of anticoagulants
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Severe systemic diseases (e.g., liver or kidney failure)

What are the treatment effects?

  • Improved skin firmness and elasticity
  • Reduction of wrinkles and fine lines
  • Evened skin tone and texture, scar reduction
  • Increased hair density and prevention of hair loss
  • Natural, long-lasting rejuvenation effect without risk of allergic reactions
